Patrick Sees His Father for the First Time in More Than Six Months and He Sends his Congratulations to his Graduating Class!
Patrick’s mother and father visited him this morning in his detention facility, his father surprised him by visiting him for the first time in over six months due to his health problems which make it extremely hard for him to endure the visit both physically and mentally. Both Patrick and his father were very happy to finally meet one another, despite the horrible situation they are in. The meeting was certainly overwhelming for all of them, especially that Patrick could tell how much his father’s health has deteriorated since the last time he saw him.
He wanted to congratulate his class at the GEMMA Master’s program who are about to graduate in a month. He knows all the dates of his studies by heart, we can only imagine how hard it is for him to know that he should be graduating now alongside his classmates instead of being in prison. Yet, as always, Patrick still finds it in his heart to be happy for his friends and wish them the best. We would like to remind everyone that his program is a two-year program, of which Patrick only attended one semester and the rest he spent in prison and who knows when will he be able to continue his studies. He also thanks his friends from all over the world as well as his colleagues at EIPR, for everything they’re doing for him.
We reiterate our demand for Patrick Zaki’s immediate and unconditional release, Patrick should have been graduating. #Freepatrick

#PatrickLibero
